Long run at 8:30 Sunday, New Scotland Town Park. 148 Swift Road, Voorheesville. 10 and 7 mile loops available. Some of us will be doing 20+. Hilly but beautiful. Let me know if you're coming, so I can drop water.
Rocco's hernia:
If I ran twenty plus I would be dropping more than water!

Utopians,
Volunteers are needed to help at the finish line at the MHR Marathon and Half on 10-10-10. If you are not running, but want to be a part of the race, we can use you. No pay, lots of work, but a great vantage point to cheer fellow Utopians on. Contact Cathy or Rob S. Thanks!

We won't be at SEFCU or State Office Campus for the next month of Thursdays. We're moving down to the Albany Corning Preserve bike path until the weekend of the MHRM.
To get there, from I-90, take the exit for I-787 south and get off at exit 4A. The parking lot near the boat launch is right there. We'll start at 6pm as always.
Caster Semenya:
After the SEFCU race there will ALso be mandatory gender screening at future practices.
|
coachjim:
A few asked why the change in venue. Well we try to either mimic or run the actual course of upcoming races. We have done this for a number of years. It is important make sure you know the course and it was evident on Monday that many of our team knew about the overpass just about 2500 meters. The Corning Perserve area is the finish of MHRM as well as the half.
|
Patrick:
I would like to suggest running from Colnie town park and the Train Station at least one Thursday each as these parts of the course are important as well.

Almost had a Seinfeld experience at RocknRoll half the other day!! I set alarm in hotel for 430am- and it didn't go off- or it was just BlINKING- woke at 442am- so, only lost 12 minutes of getting- ready time in am. Had to be at start area around 6am for 7am start. Thank god I woke on my own!!!
Frank:
I'm sure that extra rest helped!

I found out that I had too many individuals and it did not go, but by now everyone should have it. See you at SEFCU
