The Canuck took no prisoners at the Jailhouse Rock 5k. Brian Northran cut a full minute off last years time
despite less than optimal weather conditions. Looking at the results it appears that Big Mig may have had occasion to commiserate
with one of his VI classmates.

It was a strong showing for the Women at The Altamont 5k with Katie Roden finishing 1st and Dana Lynskey 3rd in the Women's overall
competition. On the men's side Jim Maney (8th overall,2nd in age) and Brian Northan (18th overall, 3rd in age group) continued to run well. The majority of other team members also took home some
type of age group award on another sultry day in Altamont.

This past Monday was a shocker. Paul Turner shows up at the Bethlehem Town Park in running gear! Just when we all thought
nothing could top that Al and Sharon cross the finish line hand in hand. There's a late report that Uncle Johnny was
overheard having a heated conversation on his cellphone. "Al was supposed to be pushing up blue lupines in
the Pine Bush by now, you'll get your Perreca's when the job is done!"
